Kathy - implementation of the mobile laptop carts into the science curriculum.
Beginning with a "how to use" and go over the Mobile lab instructions
(I like this because I don't know how to turn it on) - Cindy
I like Catherine's idea from the discussion board on making sure the mobile carts work. - Kathy will talk with Jane
The first cart works. The 2nd cart is in the process of becoming ready. Should be by the end of February.
Have a brief staff development (in house) for those that are ready to learn how
discuss various "how to implement" the mobile lap top in the classroom (teacher's share)
* webquest, research, hotsheets (this is what I am looking for, yes) - Cindy
Is there a grade level we wish to concentrate on?
4th and 5th grade
Facilitator (I nominate myself)
Follow up - Gather again to evaluate
needs as a staff we want to address in the area of staff development
needs in technology
needs in implementation (This is where I always need help. I learn about something, then a couple of weeks pass and I forget) - Cindy
I like Catherine's idea here also where she talks about chunking the information and practice, practice, practice. Then we can get back together and find out where we want to go from there.
